Ama-amA Cereals

Several years ago a good friend intoroduced me to Ama-amA cereal. I loved it the first time I fried it. So did my wife and children.

The Ama-amA instant cereal is made with puffed amaranth, one of the few whole protein grains available. Ama-amA cereal also contained sunflower seeds, oats, dried fruit, pure evaporated cane sugar, and other good things. It was both tasty and healthy.

We liked the new product even better then the Ama-amA cereal. The main change between the two products is that the new product uses juice drops in the cereal instead of the dried fruit that was in Ama-amA cereal.

Juice drops look similar to chocolate chips. However, they are made with fruit puree and are fun to eat They add a delightful chewy texture to the cereal. They are also healthy.

Like the Ama-amA cereal, the new cereal is also enzyme active or alive. Because of the live enzymes in it, the new product is called ZymAlive.

We also discovered, to our pleasant surprise, that the ZymAlive products cost less then the Ama-amA cereal.
